A step-by step guide on how to buy on ServiceMela.



Buying a service


1. Login to ServiceMela using your credentials. 

2. Click on the Search Bar on top and Search for the service you want to order

3. Select the service from the list of services and click on ‘Order

(Note: If there are no results for the service you are searching for, you can easily post a service request on the platform)

4. On the cart page, click on ‘Order’ to make the payment and place the order. ‌‌‘’ 
(Note: After the Buyer makes the payment on ServiceMela, the order gets confirmed)

5. Go to ‘Buying’ and click on ‘My Orders’ to see your ordered services.

6. Select the ordered service to see the progress. Give the required information (if any) and click on ‘Start’ to start the service. 

7. After the order is completed, click on ‘Leave a Review’ to leave a review and rate the seller. Click on ‘Submit Review’ to save.

Note the following:

Buyer can cancel anytime before the order is Started so seller is not supposed to provide service at this point.

Once the Buyer Starts the order, it can't be cancelled by the Buyer directly anymore, so the Seller is guaranteed payment.

Once the order is Started, the buyer can request to Cancel and it's upto the Seller to decide whether He wants to Cancel or Complete the order.





Post a Service Request



1. Login to ServiceMela using your credentials.

2. Go to ‘Buying’ and click 'Post a Service Request’ 

3. Fill out all the mandatory details of the service such as title and category of the service, price, description of the service, address, etc. After providing all the required details, click on ‘Next’ 

4. Finalise the details in the preview and click on ‘Submit’ 

5. Click on ‘Post service Request’ 

5. Go to ‘Buying’ and click on ‘My Service Requests’ to see your service requests
